General relativity is a fundamental pillar of modern physics that has successfully predicted and described numerous gravitational phenomena over the past century. Recent observations of gravitational waves and the first-ever image of a supermassive black hole have further elevated the theory's significance. Nonetheless, despite progress in string theory and holography, quantum aspects of gravity remain an unresolved challenge. To gain deeper insights into the structure of gravity, researchers are investigating extensions of general relativity that incorporate enhanced spacetime symmetry, motivated by string theory. Two particularly promising research topics in this area are higher spin gravity and double field theory, which illuminate intrinsic features of string theory and enable generalizations of conventional spacetime geometry. The primary objective of this program is to bring together researchers specializing in these topics to facilitate the exchange of ideas, foster the development of new insights, and promote collaborative efforts.
